Governments face growing pressure to continue delivering public administrative services to citizens and businesses in challenging circumstances, such as pandemics, conflict and post-conflict situations, migration flows, or natural catastrophes. This SIGMA webinar brings together government practitioners, EU and OECD experts to share practical experiences and lessons learnt from adapting service delivery in times of crisis, with a particular focus on relevance for EU enlargement and neighbourhood countries.
Drawing on country examples and international frameworks, the webinar aims to support governments in strengthening preparedness, responsiveness and resilience, while opening space for exchange on how crises can also create opportunities to rethink and improve public administrative services. The discussion will explore the importance of moving beyond reactive responses towards more proactive and prospective approaches to service delivery.
