SIGMA presented the results of the first National Survey of Public Servants in Jordan, in an event organised under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Jaafar Abdulfattah Hassan - Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and attended by high level officials, including ministers and secretaries general.
The survey was designed and implemented by SIGMA, in co-operation with the Service and Public Administration Commission in Jordan. It generated responses from more than 40 000 public servants.
This exercise marks an important step in Jordan’s public administration reform efforts. For the first time, decision‑makers have access to a comprehensive picture of the experiences, motivations and challenges faced by public servants across the country; which is comparable with similar international public servants’ surveys. This survey is an important tool that will contribute to evidence-informed improvements of HR practices.
