How can digital transformation help advance gender equality in public administrations? This event brought together representatives of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) Female Leaders Network’s Steering Committee and National Gender Councils for a peer-learning exchange hosted by the OECD and organised in co-operation with the GIZ Eastern Partnership Public Administration Reform project and the SIGMA Programme. The visit was designed to connect regional reform efforts with global discussions taking place at the OECD Forum on Gender Equality, Harnessing the Digital Transformation for All. It explored how governments can use digital tools, data and artificial intelligence to promote more inclusive public institutions while addressing barriers, exclusion and emerging risks. Participants exchanged experiences on gender equality reforms in public administration, examined recent developments in participating countries, and discussed practical tools to strengthen gender-sensitive policymaking. The event also provided opportunities to learn from international experts and share innovative approaches to support women’s leadership, build resilience in public institutions and advance gender equality across the region.
