Conference co-organised by the Supreme Audit Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and SIGMA, under the auspices of the Network of SAIs of EU Candidate and Potential Candidate Countries.
The SAI of Bosnia and Herzegovina shared its journey, experiences, and key takeaways from the IDI SoAQM Global Pilot, with the aim of contributing to peer learning and supporting other SAIs in their own transitions to the revised ISSAI 140.
During panel discussions on audit quality management systems the Network SAIs and invited SAIs, such as the European Court of Auditors, the National Audit office of Sweden, State Audit Institution of Croatia and SAI Bulgaria, actively shared their experiences, best practices, and the challenges they face in ensuring and improving audit quality. The event facilitated a meaningful and open exchange of experiences, practical approaches, and tools related to audit quality management.
Recognising the diversity of institutional contexts and maturity levels, we aim to create a space where SAIs can come together to explore common challenges, identify shared priorities, and work towards a common understanding of what constitutes effective and sustainable audit quality management practices.
