Sigma Activities: Russia

Under separate funding from OECD, Sigma has supported administrative reform in Russia.

In 2002 Sigma participated in preparatory work undertaken in the framework of a major administrative reform programmed launched by the Russian Government, which included reform of the legal framework for the civil service and its management system.

At the request of the Russian authorities, Sigma input in 2003 focused on providing access to the experiences of OECD member countries and transition countries in public administration reform, in particular with regard to public expenditure management, external audit and financial control.
