Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) replaces Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe

On 30 June the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe officially closed its Secretariat in Brussels.  Responsibility for promoting co-operation in the region was handed over to the new Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) on 27 February.  The RCC Secretariat, led by Secretary General Hido Biscevic, is based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the end of May the RCC launched its website.  The Stability Pact website (www.stabilitypact.org) will remain as a source of information on activities carried out over the past nine years.
