In June 2008 Sigma’s working partners are:

  • Two new EU Member States - Bulgaria and Romania
  • Three EU candidates - Croatia, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, and Turkey
  • Potential EU candidates -  Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia, as well as Kosovo under UNSCR 1244/99
  • European Neighbours and Partners (ENPI) - Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine & Russia

Sigma backs up other EU projects and the work of other donors, contributing additional expertise and providing legal and comparative perspectives. Sigma activities complement other EU institution-building initiatives.
