							         <description><![CDATA[Prepared by the EC's DG Budget with SIGMA support, this compendium provides an overview of public internal control systems used in the 27 EU Member States to manage and control their national funds, revenues and expenditures, on the basis of voluntary contributions by the Member States. The compendium contains an analysis of the systems in operation and also provides the reader with an insight into possible future developments. It will be presented during the EC conference on Public Internal Control Systems in EU Member States in Brussels on 27-28 February 2012.]]></description>

							         <description><![CDATA[The seminar for the Network of SAIs of EU Candidate and Potential Candidate Countries and ECA, hosted by the SAI of the Czech Republic with SIGMA and JWGAA support, will look into the implications of applying the new ISSAI 40. The ISSAI standards in relation to quality were strengthened by the introduction of ISSAI 40 at the Johannesburg INCOSAI Meeting. The seminar will look at the practical problems arising from implementing quality control processes on a day-to-day basis and is aimed at managers and audit team leaders, including those responsible for audit quality.]]></description>
